George & Bean started in 2020, when a coffee loving, day dreaming girl came across the van of her dreams.
A 1976 vintage Volkswagen Kombi, with not only a coffee machine in the back, but taps on the side too.
Having finished my Graphic Design degree, as a third year barista I wouldn’t have dreamed of buying a coffee business, but here we are.
Coffee is my passion, but the stories, friends and memories that come with selling coffee is just the icing on the cake.

With their new air roasting technology (A.R.T), Allpress are able to take flavour to the very knife’s edge.
The development process allows for a clean and sweet roast.
But when it comes to coffee, this is as big, fat and chocolately as it gets!

We are located in the gorgeous little town of Murrurundi, so we can service events in the Upper Hunter and surrounds.

We have a stunning little garden right in the centre of Murrurundi we operate out of on Monday & Tuesday each week from 8am - 1pm. So next time you are on the New England highway, stop in for a coffee and explore our beautiful little town.

If you would like some small treats for your event, we can provide a variety of fresh, home made goodies.
Our house slices are:
Breakfast Bar - filled with cranberries, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and cinnamon.
Chewy Choc Slice - a deliciously chewy chocolate coconut slice.
Choc & Oat Slice - the ultimate combo of the fullness of oats and the small treat of chocolate.
We can always cater for gluten free options,
our house GF treats are delectable Amaretti biscuits.
We also offer freshly made Portuguese Tarts,
Egg & Bacon & Vegetarian Pastry cups.

George and Bean offers all black and milk coffee, hot choccies, chai, ice latte, ice choc/chai, and up to four different flavours of kombucha or drink depending on event. Morning tea packages are also available.
